Children's author Julie Fulton visited Winchcombe Farm Day Nursery, in Upper Tysoe, to celebrate World Book Day.

Julie read her latest book, Bossy Jonathan Fossy, to youngsters at the Shenington Road day nursery and talked to them about her love of writing.

Buckingham-born Julie, who penned the Ever So series of children’s books, visits Winchcombe Farm Day Nursery every year to read with the children for World Book Day.

Julie’s second book in the Ever So series, Tabitha Posy Was Ever So Nosy, was shortlisted for The People’s Book Prize 2013/14.

Nursery manager Allie Aves, said: “What better way to bring a story alive than have the author read it to you?

“We always love it when Julie comes to read her books to us, as it inspires children to read themselves or with parents at home.”
