Bonfire Night is fast approaching and with a host of events across Banbury and beyond, we bring you a round-up of the biggest and best displays.

Make a date for public displays of fireworks and bonfires as we celebrate Guy Fawkes night.

WHAT: Bodicote Fireworks

WHERE: Bodicote.

DATE: Thursday, November 5.

HOW MUCH: Tickets must be bought on the gate and cost £4 with children under the age of five getting in free.

TIME: Gates open onto Kings Field at 5.45pm.

OTHER INFO: There will be a range of stalls and entertainment with a bonfire burning throughout the evening. There will also be refreshments available.

WHAT: Greatworth Fireworks

WHERE: Hobwell Field (behind the church).

DATE: Saturday, November 7 There will be a barbecue and refreshments.

HOW MUCH: Tickets are £15 for a family, adults £6, children and OAPs £3 and pre school children admitted free. Tickets are available from the school.

TIME: Gates open at 5.30pm with the display starting at 7pm

OTHER INFO: Proceeds towards Greatworth School, Pre School and Whistley 2000 Scout Group.

WHAT: Bloxham Fabulous Fireworks Evening

WHERE: Bloxham Primary School.

DATE: Friday, November 6

HOW MUCH: Advance prices are £3 per person, or £10 for a family of 4. On the gate prices will be £4/£12.

TIME: Gates will open at 6pm with fireworks starting at approximately 7pm.

OTHER INFO: There will be a barbecue, bar, sweet stall, cakes and a ‘Guess the weight of the Pumpkin’ competition. Tickets will be on sale now outside the school from Friends of Bloxham Primary School members.

WHAT: Adderbury Fireworks

WHERE: Bo Peep Farm, Adderbury.

DATE: Saturday, November 7

HOW MUCH: Advance prices are £12.50 for a family (two adults and two children), £4 per adult or £3 per child. Under-3s free. Prices on the gate £15/£5/£4.

TIME: Gates will open at 4.30pm for a 6.30pm start.

OTHER INFO: Food, stalls and rides available.

WHAT: Kineton Fireworks

WHERE: Kineton Primary School.

DATE: Saturday November 7

HOW MUCH: Entrance costs £5 for adults and £4 for children, or £4 and £3 respectively if bought in advance from the school.

TIME: from 5.30pm.

WHAT: Fireworks Spectacular in Towcester

WHERE: Nicholas Hawksmoor Primary School, Balmoral Close, Towcester, NN12 6JA

DATE: Friday 6th November

HOW MUCH: ADVANCE TICKETS: Adult £4, Child 3-16 years £3, Family ticket (2 adults and 3 children) £15, Under 3s Free. ON THE NIGHT: All tickets £4

TIME: Gates open at 6pm. Tickets are available from the school office from Tuesday 3rd November 2015.

OTHER INFO: The family-friendly event at the school attracts hundreds of spectators every year and features an amazing fireworks display, giant bonfire, novelty items, BBQ and refreshment stalls. The fireworks display is organised by the Friends of Nicholas Hawksmoor Primary School (FoNHS), a registered charity which organises fundraising events to help purchase extra equipment and learning resources for the school.

Sam Landymore, Chair of FoNHS, said: “The bonfire and fireworks display attracts people from far and wide and we are all set for the crowds to return this year. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun.”

WHAT: Ashton fireworks and bonfire

WHERE: Men’s Own Rugby Club, Ashton, nr Towcester

DATE: Thursday, November 5

HOW MUCH: £3 adult, £2 children

TIME: Gates at 6pm, fire lit at 6.15pm and fireworks at 7pm

OTHER INFO: Refreshments, barbecue, drinks, raffle, stalls
