The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) have said there is no set time as to when a report will be released following Saturday’s light aircraft crash which killed two people at Enstone Airfield.

Emergency services were called to the scene at about 7.20pm, including firefighters from Charlbury and Chipping Norton and a crew from South Central Ambulance Service.

The pilot, a man in his sixties and a passenger, a man in his fifties, both died at the scene and their next of kin have been informed.

A spokesperson for the AAIB said a team had been made aware of the incident and were deployed up to the airfield, but added they would not make a statement about any potential findings until their report was finished.
