Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey have hosted a competition to help schoolchildren in Brackley some spread Christmas cheer.
The national firm is building high quality homes at its Earls Manor development on Radstone Road and encouraged pupils from Bracken Leas Primary School to get their creative juices flowing by taking part in a Christmas-themed competition.
The youngsters brief was to design Christmas tree decorations that could be hung on the tree in the sales centre at Earls Manor and the pupils who created the best designs, recieved £45 worth of gift vouchers as a prize for their efforts.
Colin Gynn, headteacher at Bracken Leas Primary School, said: “It’s always great to spread the Christmas cheer, and our pupils were delighted to take part in Taylor Wimpey’s Christmas tree decoration design competition.
“We’re all very proud of all of the fantastic decorations that our pupils entered into the competition, and hope that they bring festive cheer to everyone that sees them!”
Gift vouchers were given to the first, second and third place winners of the competition to congratulate them on their spectacular designs.
Taking home the top prize was ten-year-old Marc Hurd, with Leah Tustain, 11, coming second and six-year-old Dylan Mann in third.
