Driver dies after M40 crash near Banbury
One person has died following a collision on the M40 motorway near Banbury last night (Sunday).
South Central Ambulance were called at about 8.30pm to the northbound carriageway between junctions ten (Ardley) and 11 (Banbury) after reports of a single vehicle being involved in a collision.
An ambulance attended but the driver of the vehicle was declared dead at the scene.
Two lanes were closed as a result of the incident by police, but were re-opened the same evening.
