Drama school beckons for Stagecoach student

A student of Stagecoach Performing Arts in Banbury has been offered places at two prestigious drama colleges

Sixteen-year-old Liv Barnett-Legh has been a Stagecoach student since the age of six.

Liv, who attends Magdalen College School, in Brackley, has already been offered a post-16 diploma place to study musical theatre at Read Dance and Theatre College, in Reading, as well as a place to study acting at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, in Tring, and will be auditioning for others too.

Liv’s starring roles with Stagecoach over the years include Dorothy in The Wiz, when her dog, Bella, played Toto.

She said: “When I was 11 I attended a two-week Stagecoach professional training course in London and then I knew I wanted to do this as a career.”

Principal of Stagecoach Banbury, Melissa Allen, said: “I’m just thrilled for Liv.

“She has worked so hard over the years and will, I’m sure, secure a career in the industry, because her talent shines through.”
