As the countdown continues to the end of Sir Tony Baldry’s reign as MP, Cherwell District Council held a special dinner to pay tribute to his contribution to the area.

It was a time for friends past and present to gather and say thanks, while, as reported in last week’s paper, Sir Tony returned the compliments with a speech of his own and the formal announcement of his plan to present the council with its own coat of arms.
