Design project is a BLAST for Kineton High students
The team visite the City of Birmingham University to develop their design, nicknamed BLAST (Big Long Arm Stretchy Thing), during the Engineering Education Scheme. Ruari Allen, Barnes Battison, Thomas Gilks, Daniel Greasby and Inca Hide-Wright are pictured with Jack Robinson from Severn Trent, who helped with their project where they are mentored by a professional engineering company.

Hide AdBack at school they will now write up their report on the project and finalise their design.
During the six-month project students are encouraged to show industrial enterprise, creativity and innovation whilst gaining extensive experience of problem-solving, team-working and project management.
Kineton High School has been successfully participating in the Engineering Education Scheme for four years now with students successfully achieving the Gold Award.
