A defibrillator installed in Hornton village hall – thanks to Big Lottery funding – is dedicated to well-loved local carpenter and keen cricketer Roger Burden, 34, who died three weeks before his wedding.

More than 50 villagers turned up for instructions on how to use the equipment from ambulance head Dick Tracey, who is based in Witney.
