Residents looking to have their say on a proposal to replace a historic Banbury pub with a four storey block of eight apartments have until Tuesday, June 30 send in their views.
An outline planning application to knock down the Duke of Wellington pub on Warwick Road was submitted in April and if approved could see the site transformed into six two bedroom and two one-bedroom flats.
So far the application has attracted opposition from several residents as well as Rob Kinchin-Smith, chairman of Banbury civic Society. Chris Hone, chairman of the Banbury branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) has also raised objections.
