The sound of bells was present in Brackley Market Place on Boxing Day when the town’s morris men gathered to dance to a selection of songs. The group, which gathers in the town centre every year, also stopped off at the Greyhound Inn on High Street before finishing at the Blackbird Inn in Croughton, where they had a music session.
Stephen Ferneyhough of Brackley Morris Men said the event was another fantastic one. He said: “Our history goes back almost 400 years and this day went really well for us. We had a good turnout throughout the day.”
