Warwickshire Police officers with Wellesbourne Police posted a message on its Facebook page about the arrest.

Police made the arrest after stopping a vehicle in St Peter's Road, Kineton yesterday afternoon (Thursday May 6).

As a result of the traffic stop by police a 37-year-old woman from the Stratford area was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of cannabis.

The arrest was one of seven people arrested so far this week by roads policing officers in Warwickshire for drink and drug driving offences.
