Regional - Police stop driver doing 107mph 'on way to work' near Bicester

Police in an unmarked car stopped a driver travelling at 107mph near Bicester on Friday.

The car was stopped on the M40 close to Bicester. The driver told the officers they were ‘on their way to work’.

Officers tweeted yesterday: “Our unmarked roads policing vehicle identified this motorist travelling at 107mph on the M40 near Bicester yesterday.

"The driver said they were on their way to work! Driver issued a Traffic Offence Report. Now they await a court date #ItsNotWorthTheRisk.”
