Police make five arrests in connection to incident at Kennedy House in Banbury

Thames Valley Police have arrested five poeple in connection to an incident at a home in Banbury today, Wednesday November 18.

Police arrested the offenders in connection to drugs and burglary related offences. The arrests were made after officers responded to a call for concern about the occupant at Kennedy House, Banbury.

Police arrested four males on suspicion of drug supply. Due to their ages police were not able to provide more details about the offenders arrested in connection to the drugs offences.

A quantity of drugs were recovered by police.

The four suspects, who are not local to the area, have been bailed with conditions not to enter Oxfordshire whilst police enquiries are ongoing.

Police have also secured a Closure Order for the property making it an arrestable offence for anybody other than permitted persons to be inside the property. Police will be actively monitoring this address and ensuring the order is being followed.

A closure order has now been secured at the property.

Police also arrested a 37 year old woman from Banbury on suspicion of burglary following a further report from the same location.

Police continue to investigate the report of a burglary, and the woman remained police custody as of early this evening, Wednesday November 18.

Officers with TVP Cherwell made the following statement on Facebook about the incident: "If you have concerns around any of your neighbours being subject to such activity please do report it to us. We take these reports seriously and action will be taken.

"We would also like to thank Sanctuary Housing and Cherwell District Council for their assistance with securing the order today."
