Police make five arrests in connection to Banbury armed robbery

Thames Valley Police have arrested five men in connection to an armed robbery over the weekend in Banbury.

Police arrested three men, aged 30, 37 and 38, all from Banbury, a 34-year-old man from Abingdon, and a 29-year-old man from Hook Norton, were all arrested in connection with the incident.

The 34-year-old man has been bailed until April 4. The remaining four were released under investigation.

The arrests were in connection to police responding to a reported robbery in Bretch Hill, Banbury around 8.25am on Saturday March 7.

It was reported that a man aged in his twenties was threatened with a knife inside a property.

No further details of what happening during the robbery, including if anything was actually stolen were available.
