Thames Valley Police officers with the Tasking Team arrested a 34-year-old man today, Friday September 25, in Banbury on suspicion of drug supply offences.

No other details about the arrest were immediately available. But details are expected to be released later by the Banbury police Tasking Team.

It is the sixth person arrested this week by police for drug-related crimes in Banbury.

Thames Valley Police officers already arrested a teenager from Banbury earlier this week on Wednesday September 23 in connection to a drugs related incident in town.

Officers with the TVP Tasking Team arrested a 17-year-old male from Banbury in Fivash Close, Banbury on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Police seized suspected crack cocaine during the arrest on Wednesday.
