Police make arrest in Banbury for attempted robbery after foot chase
Police arrested a man after a foot chase today (Monday May 10) for attempted robbery in Banbury.

The arrest was the result of Thames Valley Police officers receiving a report of an attempted robbery during which a male stated he had a knife and demanded money from the victim.
TVP Cherwell officers posted a message on its Facebook page about the incident, which said: "He ran after the female screamed and a foot chase ensued. The male was caught, arrested for the offence and is currently residing in custody."
No further details were immediately availabel, including where the incident took place in Banbury.
