Police looking for man involved in 'serious' assault on police officer in Chipping Norton

Thames Valley Police are looking for a man who 'seriously' assaulted an officer in Chipping Norton this afternoon, Thursday August 13.

Police are looking for the man after he escaped officers this afternoon in Chipping Norton.

The man 'seriously' assaulted a police officer and ran down the hill on Hailey Road.

The man is described as a black male in his late 20s wearing black trousers, a black T-Shirt with white writing and was in handcuffs in the front.

If anyone sees someone matching that description they are encouraged to call police immediately quoting URN 676 of August 13.
