Police are investigating a theft during a suspected vehicle crime in the village of Oxhill.

Officers with the Shipston Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) with Warwickshire Police posted a warning to the public on its Facebook page after a reported vehicle crime in the village of Oxhill.

Police are investigating some suspicious behaviour possibly linked to vehicle crime.

The incident happened after it was discovered a Volkswagen Golf and Volkswagen Passat both had yellow zip ties put on the door handles on Saturday February 20.

Two days later, today Monday February 22, there was reported further theft and interference to the vehicle.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 using incident number 214 of Monday February 22.
