Police appeal for information after 19 year-old woman assaulted in People’s Park


A a 19 year-old woman was assaulted in while walking through People’s Park, Banbury.

The attack occurred at about 5.30am on Saturday, May 23 when the victim and her friend realised they were being followed by five men.

Three of the attackers held the victim’s friend while two others attacked the woman, leaving her with a suspected broken nose.

The first attacker is described as slim around 5ft 10ins, with blonde hair, blue eyes and in his late twenties.

The second man was stockier than the first man, had brown hair and a similar age.
