Man threatened with knife during robbery in Bicester

The robbery happened after the victim, a man in his 20s, was stopped behind a blue Ford Focus at the A41 Rodney House roundabout when the driver got out of his car and walked towards him.

The driver threatened the victim with a knife, lent into the victim’s car and took the key out of the ignition. He then got back into his car and drove away.

The victim was not injured. The incident happened at around 7.10pm on Wednesday November 18.

The offender is described as a white man, approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall with a skinny build. He was wearing a black face mask and a dark coloured tracksuit with a dark coat over the top.

It is believed that the car he was driving was a ‘58’ plate blue Ford Focus.

Investigating officer, PC Rebecca Biddle, based at Bicester police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or anyone who may have information, to please come forward.

“I would also ask motorists who was in the local area around the time this happened to check any dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could assist with this investigation.
