According to a post by Thames Valley Police officers on the TVP Cherwell Facebook page, a 20-year-old man from the West Midlands appeared at Oxford Crown Court yesterday, Thursday January 14, and was sentenced for 'County Line' drug dealing in Banbury.

The man appeared in court following an arrest in December by officers with the TVP 'Tasking Team.'

The man received a 30-month custodial sentence, and was disqualified from driving for four years after pleading guilty to charges of possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply and driving whilst unfit through drugs.

The TVP Cherwell post on Facebook said: "Our Tasking Team and Neighbourhood Teams will continue to make Cherwell and West Oxfordshire a hostile environment for 'County Lines' to operate in."
