Man hurt after ‘altercation with group of youths’ at Banbury fair

A man was injured after being pushed in an altercation with a group of youths at the fair in Banbury last night (Wednesday, October 17), police said.

The man suffered a superficial head injury after hitting a catering van following the altercation.

No arrests have been made in relation to this incident, but if anyone has any information call 101, quoting reference number 43180318054.

There was also some occurrences of anti-social behaviour and some dispersal orders were put in place, according to police.

And a 17-year-old girl from Middleton Cheney was arrested for being drunk and disorderly – she was subsequently de-arrested and taken home.
