He had been wanted by police for more than a month after an escape from custody in Banbury.

He was arrested earlier this week in Abingdon.

The arrest is in connection with an incident on April 15 when a man who was under arrest on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs absconded from the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.

The Banbury Guardian has published several stories about the case. You can read about his arrest earlier this week here: https://www.banburyguardian.co.uk/news/crime/police-capture-and-arrest-banbury-man-wanted-for-escape-from-custody-3250794
