Man, 19, seriously injured after hit by vehicle, attacked in Chipping Norton

The man was hit by a passing vehicle in the High Street before a fight broke out with the victim and another unknown man at around 1.30am.

The victim sustained serious head injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment – he has since been discharged.

The offender is described as a white man, around 5ft 10ins tall and slim.

Investigating officer PC James Jackson said: “This was a violent assault which has resulted in the victim sustaining a serious head injury and requiring hospital treatment.

“I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this attack, or has any information which they think could help our investigation.
