London calling as Banbury police offer crime round-up

And Londoners loomed large in this snapshot of the work of Thames Valley Police’s Team 5.

The cases included:

- Two females from London arrested in Bicester for shoplifting goods valued at £740. They were charged and will be sent to court.

- Numerous domestic incidents, with support and safeguarding provided, plus a charge arising from an assault investigation.

- A 24-year-old man from London was arrested in Banbury for smashing a pub window costing £230. He was also charged.

- A juvenile missing person from Aylesbury was located in Bicester. She was in possession of a bladed article and was arrested on suspicion of this offence. A 30-year-old man from Wantage was also arrested on suspicion of a number of drug offences.

- Officers in Banbury attended a road accident, along with the ambulance service and the air ambulance.
