Information wanted in quad bike theft and subsequent collision near Banbury area village

Thames Valley Police are investigating the theft of a quad bike and a subsequent traffic collision involving a dark blue 4x4 vehicle, which occurred in the Swalcliffe and Tadmarton Heath area.

The investigation started after Thames Valley Police were called to reports of a quad bike theft from a farm in Swalcliffe, Banbury.

The collision occurred between 1.20 on Thursday April 30.

Two offenders made off on the stolen quad bike in convoy with a dark blue 4x4 vehicle.

Following the theft, there was a collision involving a 4x4 and another vehicle at a crossroads between Wiggington and Swalcliffe.

No-one was injured during the incident.

The quad bike has been recovered.

No arrests have been made.
