Information wanted in Kineton assault

Police officers responded to a reported assault at an address on Park Piece, Kineton.

A group of men forced their way into the property and assaulted the victim, a man in his 50s, before leaving in a car.

The assault occurred around 1.30am today (Wednesday April 8).

The victim was not injured but left shaken following the incident.

Police said the victim and one of the suspects are believed to be known to each other.

Warwickshire Police are treating the assault as an isolated incident and believe there to be no wider threat to the community.

Investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help police with their enquiries can call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 13 of April 8.
