Information wanted in Banbury car-key burglary

Thames Valley Police are looking for information in car-key burglary in Banbury late last week.

Police are investigating a theft of a Volkswagen Scirroco during the burglary of an occupied property in Grange Road, Banbury.

The incident happened around 1.50am on Friday August 14.

No arrests have yet been made.

The resident, a woman who has requested not to be named for safety reasons, said: "I was just going to sleep when my dog kept growling, so I got up to check.

"When I looked out of the window I saw the car being driven off."

She said the offender(s) broke in through back door and took a few keys they had hanging up on a hook just inside the home.
