Information wanted after man pushed into Banbury canal

Police with TVP Cherwell have been made aware of an incident where a male was pushed into the Banbury canal by another male on a bike.

Police believe the incident happened on Thursday May 7.

No other details were immediately available about the incident.

Police posted an appeal for witnesses to the incident on the TVP Cherwell Facebook page.

The post said: "If you are the person that was pushed or know who was please call us."

Anyone with information about the incident can call police on 101 quoting reference 1164 of May 7.
