Footballer who broke opposition player’s jaw after match in Woodford Halse must pay £2,400 compensation
Frankie Belfon, of Kingsley Park Terrace, Northampton, was sentenced at Northampton Crown Court today (Wednesday) after he pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm.
The court heard that Belfon was sent off after he head-butted an opposition player during a match between Woodford United and Zedi United in Woodford Halse on December 7 last year.
