Officers from Thames Valley Police Roads Policing unit stoped the vehicle in the town on Saturday evening.
They established that the driver was behind the wheel with an expired provisional licence and also did not have any insurance – they added that he also failed a drugs wipe with a positive indication for cannabis.
The driver was arrested and his vehicle seized.
