A driver abandoned their car near a primary school during a high speed chase in Bicester.

The red Ford Fiesta refused to stop for police and was found abandoned in Holm Way, Bicester, at about 12.10am.

"Where it was abandoned caused the road to be obstructed near to the primary school," said Thames Valley Police.

Investigating officer PC Chris Guttridge, based at Bicester police station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who may have witnessed the vehicle being abandoned or has CCTV or door-cam footage in the area to please get in touch.
