A cow was left with severe burns after a corrosive liquid was thrown on it at a farm in north Oxfordshire, according to police.

The attack reportedly happened on a farm near Souldern sometime between August 20 and 23.

PCSO Louise Beaumont described the incident as ‘horrific’ in a Thames Valley Police alert issued today (Tuesday, September 9).
