Court report - Offenders guilty of outraging public decency, assault of a police officer and possession of a lock knife

A Banbury man pleaded guilty and was fined by Oxford magistrates for outraging public decency by urinating in public in Banbury.

Michael Dyer, 61, of Middleton Road, Banbury pleaded guilty to outraging public decency by behaving in an indecent manner, exposing his penis and urinating in a public place in Banbury on July 17.

Dyer was fined £80 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. He also pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words on the same day and was fined a further £80. Dyer also pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis, also on July 17. No separate penalty was imposed. The cannabis was forfeited and destroyed.

Constantin Ciprian Cracaoanu, 44, of Walton Gardens, Banbury pleaded guilty to drink driving in Longlandes Way, Banbury in an Audi car on February 2. He had 111 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. Cracaoanu was fined £576 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £58 plus court costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 26 months. Cracaoanu also pleaded guilty to driving without a licence or insurance. There was no separate penalty for these offences.

Garry Terrance Coffey, 35, of Kenilworth Way, Banbury was fined £220 for driving without a licence on Lower Cherwell Street, Banbury on March 15. Coffey was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. His driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.

Aaron David Franklin, 28, of Somerton pleaded guilty to possession of a lock knife in Fringford Road, Caversfield on December 21, 2019. A community order was made and Franklin was ordered to undertake 150 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85. The lock knife was forfeited to be destroyed.

Faith Adegoke, 25, of Longleat Close, Banbury was fined £68 for driving a Ford car at 36mph in a 30mph speed limit at Warlington Road, Oxford on February 23. Adegoke was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and her driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.

Bozhidar Kukov, 25, of Howard Road, Banbury was fined £70 for driving a Peugeot car at 36 mph in a 30mph speed limit in Botley Road, Oxford on May 4. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and his driving record was endorsed with three penalty points. Kukov was fined £70 for driving at 35mph in a 30mph speed limit, also in Botley Road, Oxford on the same day. He was ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and his licence was endorsed with three points. Kukov was fined £400 for driving at 40mph in a 30mph speed limit, in the same Peugeot car, in Abingdon Road, Oxford on May 7. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 with £85 costs and his licence was endorsed with three points.

Gyorgy Miklosi, 41 of Sir Henry Jake Close, Banbury was fined £450 for between March 10 and April 7 failing to give information relating to the driver of a Mercedes car who was alleged to be guilty of an offence in Banbury. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £45 and costs of £85. His driving record was endorsed with six penalty points. A charge of speeding at 38mph in a 30mph speed limit in Bath Road, Thatcham on February 11 was withdrawn.

Bartosz Habiera, 35, of Deacon Way, Banbury pleaded guilty to using abusive or threatening words likely to cause harassment, distress or alarm in Banbury on January 7 and 8. He was fined £260 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85.

Sarah Louise Robertson, aka Sarah Louise Robinson, 33, of Southam Road, Banbury pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating in Banbury on October 16, 2019. Robertson was fined £80 for assaulting a police officer in the High Street. She assaulted a woman, also in the High Street, occasioning her actual bodily harm. Robertson was ordered to pay compensation of £150 and to take part in a rehabilitation activity.
