Thames Valley Police are investigating multiple burglaries reported in Chipping Norton and the nearby villages of Hook Norton, Little Rollright and Church Enstone.

The burglaries happened between Thursday January 28 and yesterday Friday January 29.

Items ranging from antiques, garden machinery and horse tack were stolen during the burglaries.

TVP West Oxfordshire officers have asked anyone who may have seen suspicious vehicles in the area or anyone with CCTV which could be of use in identifying people or vehicles to contact the police.

Anyone with information about the burglaries in the area can contact police on 101 or via their online submission form on the TVP website.

TVP West Oxfordshire posted a message on its Facebook page, which included: "It is likely there will be a noticeable police presence in these areas over the coming days, we urge you to double check your security on gates, and outbuildings."

No further details of the burglaries were immediately available.
