Cannabis factories and heroin discovered during police raids in Banbury

Two cannabis factories and a small quantity of heroin were discovered when police raided two properties in Foundry Street and Tithe Court, Banbury at 10am on Friday.

Three men were arrested during the raids; a 34 year-old man on suspicion of cannabis cultivation, a 55 year-old man on suspicion of cannabis cultivation and possession of Class A Drugs and a 35 year-old man for possession of a Class A drugs.

The 34 year-old and 55 year old were bailed until July 14, the third man received a caution.

Sgt David Keith from Banbury Police Station said: “The action undertaken by our local officers shows that where our communities voice their concerns police will listen, respond and where appropriate take action against those who engage in criminality and affect the lives of our communities.
