Bodicote woman arrested on suspicion of drink driving

Northamptonshire Police arrested a 26-year-old woman from Bodicote on Monday December 21 on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol after being stopped by officers. She has been released under investigation whilst enquiries are completed.

Northamptonshire Police is naming drivers charged with drink or drug driving as part of a month-long campaign to tackle offending over the Christmas and New Year period. A Banbury woman was also arrested and charged earlier this month as part of the Northamptonshire Police campaign against drink and drug driving.

Officers from across the force will be targeting those who choose to drink or take drugs and drive in a bid to keep the roads safer over the festive period, and anyone found to be over the limit will face the full force of the law.
