It is believed the car was taken at between 11.25am-11.30am and the owner, Liam Finn, hopes the driver of a silver car parked in the next spot may have seen it being driven away.

Police cameras detected the black Ford Smax being driven onto the M40 from the A46 roundabout (junction 15 at Warwick) at 12.08pm.

"I was at the market with my son and girlfriend. We arrived at 11:25ish and I spoke to the person in the silver van who said he arrived at 11:30am and went straight in the space my car had been in. The silver car next to the van may have witnessed something. They pulled up as we got out and walked away from the car."
