Assault, trespassing and driving offences are among some the Banbury area cases in the magistrates' court

A Banbury man has been fined for driving with excess cocaine in his blood.

Mark Leslie Usmar, 49, of Dashwood Road, Banbury pleaded guilty to driving a Fiat Panda on the A34 with excess cocaine in his blood. The offence was committed on January 4. Usmar was fined £140 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Christopher Richard Chapman, 37, of no fixed abode pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis at Banbury Police Station on July 20 following a suspected offence. Chapman was fined £120 and disqualified from driving for 36 months.

Ryan Graham Darren Kilby, 35, of Cherwell Bank, Lower Heyford pleaded guilty to trespassing at Sainsbury’s Kidlington with intent to steal. Kilby was ordered to undertake 100 hours of unpaid work and to pay compensation of £200.

Gracjan Redzimaski, 25, of Ferriston, Banbury pleaded guilty to drink driving a Honda Civic car on Southam Road, Banbury. Redzimaski had 54 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £350 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35. He was also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 15 months.

Caroline Buckingham, 54, of Howard Road, Banbury was fined £660 for failing to give information relating to the identity of the driver of a Ford car between March 2 and 30 who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Buckingham was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Her driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.

Suzana Tomaz Medeiros, 29, of Easington Road, Banbury was fined £400 for driving without insurance at The Glebe, Aynho on February 11. Madieros was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40, court costs of £85 and her driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.

John Andrew O’Sullivan, 65, of Winchester Close, Banbury was fined £660 for driving without insurance on Ferriston, Banbury on February 11. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. His driving record was endorsed with six penalty points. O’Sullivan was also fined £220 for driving without a test certificate on Ferriston on February 11.

Michael Sanusi-Agbabiaka, 24, of Mere Road, Finmere was fined £70 for driving at 35mph through a 30mph speed limit in Watlington Road, Oxford on December 25, 2019. He was ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and his driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.

Barash Ahmed Ali, 20, of South Bar Street, Banbury was fined £660 for driving in Thornbury Rise, Banbury without insurance. He was disqualified for six months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 with court costs of £85. Ali was also fined £220 for driving without a licence also in Thornbury Rise. The offences were committed on May 17.

Matthew David Pratley, 47, c/o Church Road, Chipping Norton pleaded not guilty but was found guilty of assault in Witney on October 16, 2019. Pratley was ordered to undergo treatment for alcohol dependency for 12 months and to undertake 50 hours of unpaid work. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £200.

David Llewellyn, 53, of Church Lane, Bicester pleaded guilty to possession of six wraps of heroin in Banbury on October 19, 2019. Llewelyn was fined £55 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge. An order was made for the drugs to be forfeited and destroyed.

Istvan Svidro, 42, of Mayers Way, Charlton, admitted breaching a community requirement of a suspended sentence imposed by the court in July 2019 for an assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He failed to keep an appointment with his responsible officer, failed to keep in touch with the officer or to give evidence of a reasonable excuse for not doing so. A sentence of 20 weeks, suspended for 18 months was imposed, plus carrying out 30 hours of unpaid work. Svidro was ordered to pay costs of £60.
