Arrest made for drink driving after single-vehicle collision in village near Banbury

Police arrested a Brackley man early this morning on suspicion of drink driving after a single-vehicle collision in Middleton Cheney.

The collision happened when a silver Audi TT crashed into a lamppost in Banbury Road, Middleton Cheney around 2am this morning, Friday August 14.

Police arrested a 51-year-old man from Brackley on suspicion of drink driving in connection with the collision.

There were no injuries in the collision.

Police and crews from two fires services, the Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, all responded to the crash.
