Arrest made in Brackley after suspected drug driving incident

Northamptonshire Police made the arrest after acting on community intelligence regarding cannabis use gained earlier in the day.

Police confirmed the drug suspected in the offence to be cannabis.

The driver was released under investigation whilst police await the result blood sample.

The vehicle was stopped on Burwell Hill, Brackley.

Police posted the following message on social media after the arrest: "Please be assured we do react to intelligence that comes from the community."
