'Antisocial' Banbury motorcycle rider dumps bike while being pursued by police
A motorcycle rider being pursued by roads police officers for ‘anti-social riding’ dumped the machine and escaped before they could catch him.
Police retrieved the motor scooter which has been retained.
The Thames Valley Police Roads Policing team tweeted: “Reports of anti social riding in Banbury. Officers located this vehicle but the driver did not want to stop and speak to officers before riding off and dumping it. Vehicle has been seized and recovered.”
It is understood the bike rider has as yet not been identified.
