Court round-up: Man fined after assault charge

James Hannon, 45, of Station Approach, Banbury, admitted assault by beating. He was fined £250, ordered to pay £150 compensation, £25 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Michelle Alexander, 33, of Red Poll Close, Banbury, was found guilty of using a colour television without a licence. He was fined £220, ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge and £120 costs.

Sharon Colclough, 30, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, was found guilty of using a colour television without a licence. She was fined £285, ordered to pay £29 victim surcharge and £120 costs.

Desiree Davis, 22, of Alma Road, Banbury, was found guilty of using a colour television without a licence. She was fined £220, ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge and £120 costs.

Samantha Lister, 43, of Pontefract Road, Bicester, was found guilty of using a colour television without a licence. She was fined £285, ordered to pay £29 victim surcharge and £120 costs.

Jaqueline Lorent, 24, of Orchard Way, Banbury, admitted using a colour television without a licence. She was fined £70, ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £120 costs.

Steffan Gardner, of Longelandes Way, Banbury, was found guilty of keeping a vehicle on a public road which was unlicensed. He was fined £220, ordered to pay £57.50 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.

James Burton, 38, of Parsley Place, Banbury, admitted speeding. He was fined £100, ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and had his driving licence endorsed with three points.
