Contents of shed in Banbury property stolen

The entire contents of a garden shed in Banbury has been stolen after offenders removed the back panel to gain entry.

It happened at about 11am last Thursday in Daimler Avenue but police have said a number of the items stolen have been recovered and identified, along with numerous other items.

Investigating officer, PC Leanne Canning of Banbury Police Station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have heard or seen suspicious behaviour in the area to please get in contact via the Thames Valley Police 24-hour inquiry line on 101.

“Just a reminder for residents to check their sheds and garages and ensure nothing is missing, if you discover large items have been stolen please contact Banbury Police Station as we have a large number of garden tools and ornaments still unclaimed to be from the Highlands area.”
