Comedian adds to Banbury Literary Live magic
The one-day event on September 15 is celebrating its sixth year by moving from its home at North Oxfordshire Academy to the heart of town, opening up new possibilities for its programme.
Rhys Hopkin from The Mill said: “We’re delighted to be hosting Banbury Literary Live this year, and hope that the new town centre location will help entice more people to take part and enjoy the day.

Hide Ad“As part of that, I’m thrilled that we’ve been able to get Jackie Hagan to perform as part of the festival.
“I’m sure it’ll be a fitting end to what promises to be fantastic day.”
The new show is called This is Not a Safe Space and is stopping off at The Mill as part of a national tour.
Her performance is at 7.30pm on Saturday, September 15 and is for ages 14+.

The daytime Lit Live programme once again offers a line-up of authors, speakers, performers and workshops.
The emphasis is very much on ‘live’, with performance poets, theatrical performances, cookery demonstrations, science showcase, animators and much more, including a host of authors bringing their books to life.
These events are aimed at all ages and are free.
