Members of a community group aimed at supporting a popular walking area near Deddington joined together for a regular clean-up.

Daeda Wood had its trees planted by children and the community 18 years ago, and members of the Friends of Daeda Wood regularly meet up to help keep it tidy.

Seven people spent the morning cleaning up rubbish and Annette Murphy, chair of the group, said: “It went really well and we are really lucky to have an area like this, which also has some wildlife as well.”
