The event was the idea of Sindy Matthews, who runs SMart Health & Fitness, including the Kick Start Fat Loss programme, which encourages ‘clean’ eating, cutting out processed food, sugar, dairy, wheat and gluten.

Twenty-three guests were treated to a three-course meal in the BYHP recreational room, which was transformed for the night into an Indian restaurant.

As well as the scent of spice, the meal was accomanied by sitar, flute, santoor, and tabla music.
