Classic car event in Brackley is another success
Despite the wet weather, the number of vehicles on display was double the amount enjoyed by crowds at last year’s inaugural event.
About £1,000 was also raised for the chosen charities of Town Mayor Councillor Jim Broomfield, the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and Katharine House Hospice.

Despite the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team car not being on display this year, they also helped raise funds for the nominated charities by donating a box of goodies to sell on the day.
Tea and cakes were provided by Girl Guiding groups and a full barbecue organised by Brackley Butchers.
Voting for the best classic car on the day took place throughout the day, and the winner for Best in Show was Bob Wyatt from Leighton Buzzard with his immaculate 1947 Triumph Roadster TR18. The Leicester Classic Car Enthusiasts won the Best Club Stand award.
