Clare Balding among guests at Tudor Hall
The pupils from the Girls School Association enjoyed a day of sessions led by elite athletes from rugby, hockey, lacross netball and snowsports.
Speeches were given by Olympian Gail Emms and founder of I Can and I Am, James Shone and there was a closing question and answer session hosted by Clare Balding.

Other attractions include functional movement screening to help promote longevity of peak physical performance and an athletes’ fair.
Each girl attending the conference had been chosen for her aptitude at sport, many already compete at the highest of junior levels.
Headteacher Wendy Griffiths, said: “A day which touched and inspired us all from the keynote speech given by James Shone to the multitude of hugely successful athletes who were outstanding role models for the students.”
